Raise and escalate a ticket
STEP 1
Call or chat
Helpline or Gemmy chat for a quick fix.
STEP 2
Raise a ticket
Ticket page or email. Add error, bid/order number, screenshot. Save the ticket number.
STEP 3 · AFTER 3 DAYS
Escalate
Use “escalate a ticket” on the portal if still unresolved.
GeM’s escalation matrix sets a target of resolving operational issues within 16 working hours, and lets you escalate if a ticket is open 3 days after creation.
Payment delays and disputes
Disputes between buyers and sellers (late payment, wrong rejection, non-supply) go through GeM’s Incident Management, not the helpline. Raise an incident on the order, follow up with a ticket, and for unresolved cases MSEs can use the MSME Samadhaan portal and anyone can file on CPGRAMS.
Before you call
- User ID (not email), registered mobile and email
- Business PAN
- Bid, order or ticket number
