GeM seller login – step by step

1
Open gem.gov.in by typing it in your browser.
2
Click Login at the top right.
3
Enter your seller User ID, the username created at registration. It’s usually not your email.
4
Fill the CAPTCHA.
5
Verify with your password and/or OTP. Some profiles also ask for Aadhaar eSign or DSC for the primary user.
6
You’re in. The seller dashboard opens.
GeM is rolling out a new SSO login in phases, sometimes with the GeM Authenticator app. If your screen looks different, it’s still official as long as it’s on gem.gov.in or sso.gem.gov.in.

What you can do after seller login

Primary vs secondary seller users

Primary user

The proprietor, director or key person who registered. Controls the profile, contact details and other users.

Secondary users

Staff logins for catalogue, bidding or finance, with only the rights the primary user gives.

Staff can’t see bids or payments? Their role doesn’t include it; the primary user must add it. Primary user left the company? Request a primary-user change through a GeM ticket, with proof of authority from the business.
