Which OTP isn’t coming?
GeM sends OTPs at different steps, and each goes to a different place. Pick yours:
OTP goes to
Mobile linked to the authorised person’s Aadhaar (UIDAI record)
Most likely fix
Update the Aadhaar mobile at an enrolment centre, or verify with personal PAN instead.
All fixes, step by step
1Aadhaar OTP not coming during registration
The OTP goes to the mobile in UIDAI’s record. If it’s old, update it at an Aadhaar centre, then retry. Can’t wait? Verify with the authorised person’s personal PAN instead.
2Login OTP not coming
Check you typed the right User ID; the OTP goes to that account’s contacts. Secondary users: ask your primary user if an old number was entered.
3Too many attempts / blocked
Stop requesting. Wait 30–60 minutes, then try once.
4OTP says “invalid”
Use only the latest OTP, enter it quickly, set phone time to automatic, and paste instead of typing.
5Phone-side issues
Full SMS inbox, weak signal, spam filters, roaming. Clear storage, restart, check blocked messages.
6Email OTP or reset link missing
Check spam and promotions, and confirm the email on your account is one you can still open.
